Master Choa Kok Sui says “Life Energy or prana is all around us. It is pervasive; we are actually in an ocean of Life Energy. Based on this principle, a healer can draw in Pranic Energy or Life Energy from the surroundings.”
What is Pranic Healing?
Pranic Healing is an evolved system of energy medicine Grand Master Choa Kok Sui researched trialled and developed for over 20 years. It is a combination of ancient healing techniques still practiced today in India as Pranic Healing and in China as Qigong, ki kung or ki healing. Prana is all around us in the air, the earth and the sun. This resource of natural energy is utilised by a Pranic Healer by redirecting their flow to the body of another person for the purpose of stimulating the body’s self-healing system.
During Pranic Healing in Perth, the therapist assists by removing blockages in the energy field and energises the body if it is depleted. This assists the body’s energy system to normalise so that the body can heal itself. The therapist continually works with the whole person, not just an organ or a part of the body.
The basic laws of Pranic Healing is based on two laws:
- Law of Self-Discovery. This law is based on the fact that the body is a self-healing system and given time it will heal itself of ailments in the absence of medicine.
- Law of Life Energy. For Life to exist the body must have prana or life energy. The healing process can be accelerated by clearing and projecting prana or life energy to the whole body or the affected part(s).
The Law of Correspondence also known at the Law of Attraction or Resonance reflects the relationship between the physical and energy bodies. By healing the energy body, the physical body mirrors that healing. Ailments and discords appear on the energy level before they manifest in the physical body or our physical reality.
In chemistry, energy becomes a catalyst to increase the rate of chemical reaction. In electrolysis, electricity is used as a catalyst to speed up chemical reaction. In Pranic Healing prana (energy) serves as a catalyst to increase the level of biochemical reactions involved in the natural self healing process of the body. This accelerates the body’s recovery and healing rate.
In energy healing it is understood that the physical body is surrounded and interpenetrated by an energy body called the bioplasmic body. It is a double of the physical body and while it is invisible to the naked eye it can be seen by clairvoyants or felt by those with sensitivity to energy. The physical body is fed and sustained by the blood carrying energy and nutrients around the body. The energy body mirrors the same system. It is sustained by an intricate matrix of energy channels or meridians that carry bioplasmic or energy all over the body. There are several major channels and thousands of minor channels or nadis through which prana or energy nourishes and invigorates the whole system. Chinese acupuncture is based on a procedure that uses needles to manipulate the life energy in a patient’s body curing or easing their ailment and symptoms. Needles inserted into specific meridian points in the body clears blocked energies and stimulate the flow of Qi to rebalance the body system.
What is involved in a Pranic Healing consultation?
A consultation would begin with a therapist ascertaining from a client information surrounding circumstances they would like to heal. Further details and general information about one’s life will be ascertained to better understand the nature of the issue to be healed.
The client is then required to either sit comfortably on a chair or lie down in the supine position on a massage table. Consultation is carried out with a client fully clothed and performed in a non-touch technique. The therapist will begin by asking the client if they accept the healing as this is fundamentally important to the outcome of the healing. No healing can be effective against the mind of a person that is against it or does not believe in it.
The therapist will proceed with scanning the body, feeling the “aura” or energy field of the body to assess the areas of depletion, congestion or stagnation of energy. This will assist in identifying the areas requiring healing.
A cleansing process is critical to clear and prepare the body for fresh prana vitalisation. The therapist will sweep the body to remove blockages and stagnant energies followed by projecting fresh prana to the whole body or specific area(s). A therapist depending on their level of training can accelerate the body’s healing further with the methodical cleansing of various energy centres referred to as chakras and the use of coloured pranas, crystal resonance and divine energy.
A healing consultation usually takes up to an hour. Clients may experience feelings of lightness, peace, energy and overall wellbeing. It is also normal to experience emotional release as part of the clearing and rebalancing of energy flow.
