Meet Your Guest Facilitator
Bianca Fruh - I became a 350hr Certified Hatha/Vinyasa yoga teacher in 2017 to further my own practice and to help others also find the benefits of this amazing work-in.
After years of pushing against flow, my nervous system suggested (obviously) that something had to change. I discovered yoga with a friend and although back then I didn't resonate with it as much as I did a HIIT workout, I soon found that the practice gave me a different way of starting my days. I could find space between my thoughts and felt centered in a way I hadn't felt before. These changes would last well into my work day, and I could really tell the difference between my yoga and non-yoga days! It is so easy to go along with the 'maya' (the illusion) of life being so fast paced and busy that there is no time to slow down and stop - but the input far outweighed the output. The more space I could create in my body, the more space was created in my mind. And for someone like me who lived in their thoughts, this was a complete game changer.
Becoming a yoga teacher has and continues to be very fulfilling for me. It has allowed me to share these tools with others and help students anchor to the present with breath, find ease within the effort and see that daily practice on our mats really helps with the harder times in life when we are off them! There is a famous saying ''Yoga is not about touching your toes....rather it is about what you learn on the way down".
That for sure is true! I will always be a student first. I have learned and continue to learn a lot about myself through this practice. I hope I can help you learn more about yourself by sharing this gift with you too.
