Sometimes in the busy hustle and bustle of daily living, we lose sight of our Soul and what really matters. This Retreat is an opportunity to re-centre your compass and reconnect with your Inner Self. While we have put together a nurturing program it is entirely up to you how much or how little you want to engage.
Our health and wellness Retreats are for nurturing, evolving and healing the Inner Spirit. While we have a general Program on the day Spirit runs the Agenda according to the needs of those who attend and it has always met the need of every person present. This is why our Retreats are powerful for life transformation, healing and spiritual ascension. Everything live-streams in on an expansive higher energetic level on the day.
The Winter Meditation and Self-Love Spiritual Retreat is the second of our Four-Season Spiritual & Well-being Retreats. Each season will have its own unique theme to enjoy its unique energy flow, qualities, activities and spiritual attunement. The seasonal themes of these retreats are to reconnect more mindfully with heart in the flow of the Nature and Spiritual Worlds to live more in presence with conscious and heart awareness.
Winter is the season of the least daylight hours as night-time expand with the Earth cycle moving at its furthest distance from the Light of the Sun. During this time there is least energy to drive growth, motivation and action. It is a time of rest and moving into stillness to recover, heal and Be. Winter is the in-breath of life as energy is drawn inwardly and slowing down in recovery mode. We are drawn to do less, we become more internal and enjoy our own solitude in quiet activities. Our body chemistry change as we crave warm, hot wholesome and hearty meals, and seek comfort and warmth of internal spaces. The watery element of this season can heighten our emotional nature in so many ways. We may feel moody, melancholy, sad, distance, out of sort. We may find fulfillment in our inner solitude of quiet time and self-nurturing rituals.
For this weekend, leave behind your routine of life and give yourself permission to be present to experience your inner Self more fully outside of external distractions and obligations. Soul connection is subtle and it requires full presence with the stillness of mind and openness of heart to experience it. This Retreat is about you and the value you gain from it is the priority you give to nurturing and empower your Inner Self with your loving attention. What you learn and experience renews your essence of Self and what you take away from this retreat are new healing tools, processes and wisdom to sustain self awareness and self care.
Welcome to Moondyne your Retreat
Moondyne Lodge is nestled on the hills in the Avon Valley National Park overlooking the Avon River surrounded by bushland to walk, explore and enjoy the healing of nature. Moondyne is an hour's drive from Perth with all the creature comforts of Chalets with ensuites with central heating and surrounded by breathtaking views. Food is prepared from local fresh produce in the well stock kitchen by the owners themselves.
Meet your Hosts
Iva and Neil Parker-Puie – Founders of the Monad Centre of Balance – Meditation and Holistic Wellness Centre. We are Government Certified Practitioners in alternative therapies and natural medicine. We are qualified as Meditation Teachers recognized as members of the Meditation Association of Australia. We Facilitate Personal and Spiritual wellness events for healing and evolving an enlightened loving community. Spiritual Psychology is the foundation of our Holistic Healing Program where universal wisdom flows through all our services and relationship with the community. The expansion of human consciousness to spiritual awareness is fundamentally the permanent healing we evolve in others with Divine knowledge leading one to the door of your own Infinite Self the source of your higher truth, light, love and power.
We are seasoned practitioners with over 40 years of combined passion of inner spiritual studies in the universal field of spiritual psychology we have evolved in living meditative mindful lives on our Path of Self-Realization. We facilitate 7 weekly Meditation and Mindfulness Classes that draw people of all ages from all walks of life and unique paths. The purpose of the Monad Centre of Balance is to provide a Safe Haven to grow a community with conscious enlightened minds and loving heart connection. What we do is more than passion, its sharing a way of life that for us is now more than ever a necessity to move beyond the hectic stressful fear base of living to grow, share and evolve in a world of soulful conscious and mindful, loving global community connectivity.
Meet Our Guest Facilitators
Tia and John of Earth-dreaming Sound Healers will be sounding you into the Earth’s Autumn flow while you connect deeply into your Soulful essence. Both Tia and John combine Angelic and Earthy tones of Sound to move energies into harmony inducing inner peace and physical easement. Their speciality is the blending of the Indigenous Australiana unique sounds of the Didgeridoos with drumming, crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes and Tia on occasion adding her unique voice floating through their combine instruments.
Tia and John radiate a natural grounding energy of Earth and Spirit as seasoned healers with a natural love of nature that pulls them to travel and heal the land with the unique gifts of sound. They are also very intune with their Soulful nature and are grounded in their spiritual Self.
We are delighted they can join us as they have in our past events adding their magic to the healing and nurture of others.
Bianca Fruh, I became a Certified Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher in 2017 to help others enjoy the health benefits of this amazing ancient practice. Before I embarked on qualifying as a Teacher I discovered Yoga through a friend at a cross-road in my own health where changes had to be made. Yoga gave me the grounded and centredness within myself to find space outside of mind to be more connected in feeling life. I soon found how much Yoga was changing my life for the better as I noticed the difference on days I was not practicing Yoga. I found the more space I created in my body the more space I created in my mind and for someone like me who lived in my mind it was a complete game changer.
Becoming a yoga teacher has and continues to be very fulfilling for me. It has allowed me to share these tools with others and help students anchor to the present with breath, find ease within the effort and see that daily practice on our mats really helps with the harder times in life when we are off them! There is a famous saying ''Yoga is not about touching your toes....rather it is about what you learn on the way down". That for sure is true! I will always be a student first. I have learned and continue to learn a lot about myself through this practice. I hope I can help you learn more about yourself by sharing this gift with you too.

Registration includes all linen and all meals freshly made on the premises by our hosts from local organic produce. All Chalets have ensuite, heating with garden and bushland views. Shared Chalet are for 2 people sharing roomy Chalet with King single beds and in some 1 King and Queen size bed with ensuite. Single Chalet has King or Queen Bed and ensuite. All have garden and Avon Valley National Park views.

Event reservations are non-transferable to another person. Cancellation or transfer to another event must reach us by 30 May 2022 for a full reimbursement or rescheduling. Cancellation sent to us by email before 30 June will receive a 90% refund. There will be no refund after 30 June as funds have been committed to running this event and re-advertising to cover the available room.
In the likelihood of a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances ie Covid-19 lockdown:
A full refund will be given with last minute Covid-19 virus infection requiring isolation running into and over the Retreat dateline. Please send your test positive result with your email to us requesting refund. You also have the option of transferring your booking to another event of the same value or we refund the difference, or you pay the difference.
All meals are included in your registration cost: breakfast, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and dinners. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements for our Moondyne host to note. All meals are freshly made in the Moondyne kitchen with local organic produce.
WHAT TO BRING
Yoga mat for meditation in the garden if weather permits, insect repellent, throw rug, cushion, pen and notebook and an umbrella just in case. Good enclosed walking shoes and warm jacket to enjoy your bush walk.
Winter in the hills can be cool and wet so please bring warm comfortable clothing and if you have a rain jacket bring that along too.
