Your menu is locally grown food freshly made by the loving owners of Moondyne Lodge.
Winter is the season of the least daylight hours as night grow longer and daylight shorter. During this time there is least energy to drive growth, motivation and action. It is a time to rest, heal and recover in the quiet, gentle silence of long nights.
The watery element of this feminine Yin season can heighten our emotional nature in so many ways. We may feel moody, melancholy, sad, distance or out of sort. These Retreats are safe spaces to allow our emotions to rise into our awareness. In Meditative reflection we can mindfully with loving awareness process our emotions into deeper understanding, healing and release.
For this weekend, leave behind the noise and routine of outer life. Give yourself permission to experience your inner Self more fully outside of external distractions, obligations and stress. Soul connection is subtle and it requires full presence with the stillness of mind and openness of heart to experience your Essence of Self fully.
Welcome to Moondyne your Retreat
Moondyne Lodge is nestled on the hills in the Avon Valley National Park overlooking the Avon River surrounded by bushland to walk, explore and enjoy the healing of nature. Moondyne is an hour's drive from Perth with all the creature comforts of Chalets with ensuites with central heating and surrounded by breathtaking views of the Avon Valley National Park and gardens. Food is prepared from local fresh produce in the well stock kitchen by the loving care of the owners themselves.
Meet your Hosts
Hi, we are Iva and Neil Parker-Puie, Founders of the Monad Centre of Balance – Meditation and Holistic Wellness Centre. We are qualified registered Natural Meditation Teachers with the Meditation Association of Australia. Iva is a Government Qualified Holistic Counsellor in Flower Essence Mind Body Medicine, Certified Reiki Healer, Associate Certified Pranic Healer and Peter Hess Sound Therapist. She is a registered Therapist with the International Institute for Complementary Therapist. Neil is an Associate Certified Pranic Healer, Massage Therapist and a qualified sport trainer.
We have been teaching Meditation and Mindfulness for 8 years in weekly classes and Meditation and Mindfulness Courses for beginners. We facilitate workshops and retreats for evolving Spiritual awareness and personal growth. Meditation and Mindfulness is a a natural way of life for us an essential daily ritual observed over 40 years to date. The vision of our Centre is to heal and evolve an enlightened loving community. An introduction to this powerful ancient meditation breath technique for regulating the Flight or Fight symptoms of stress, anxiety and worries to managing depressing and other fearful symptoms. A perfect entry into deeper states of meditation and stillness. Once you feel a stillness let go of the breathing and ease into sitting in your inner silence observing whatever is flowing without attachment, just be present. Journal or walk and reflect time:

Registration includes all linen and meals freshly made at Moondyne. All Chalets have King or Double Bed with private ensuite, heating with garden and Avon Valley National Park views.
Shared Chalets with shared Ensuites
- $730 pp - full payment
- $760 pp - 2 part payment of $380 with final payment by 31 December 2023
- $760 pp - 4 part payment of $190 with final payment by 31 December 2023
Registration includes all linen and meals freshly made at Moondyne. All Chalets have shared ensuite, with configuration of Single King Beds or with Double Bed, heating with garden and Avon Valley National Park views.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellation must be made by email 60 days prior to the Retreat. A Refund will be given minus $10 for admin fee. If you have paid through the 2 or 4 part payment option we will arrange refund in the same process with agreed dates with you.
- Cancellation from 59 - 30 days prior to the Retreat by email will receive a 30% refund unless a replacement can be found.
- There are no refunds outside of the date stipulation above or transfer as venue hire do not reimburse on late cancellations of rooms unoccupied due to non-attendance.
CATERING
All meals are included in your registration cost: breakfast, morning and afternoon teas, lunches and dinners. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements for our Moondyne host to note. All meals are freshly made in the Moondyne kitchen with local organic produce.
WHAT TO BRING
Yoga mat for meditation in the garden if weather permits, insect repellent, throw rug, cushion, pen and notebook and an umbrella just in case. Good enclosed walking shoes and warm jacket to enjoy your bush walk.
DRESS MODE
Winter in the hills can be cool and wet so please bring warm comfortable clothing and if you have a rain jacket bring that along too.
