Meditation and Mindfulness is setting a new wave of evolving mental well-being as it is being tailored and simplified for the western mind. The power of these practices is their ability to empower people with sound processes and techniques passed down the ages that have now undergone another level of refinement with science based evidence proving the wisdom of ancient teaching's, their validity and how these practices affect the human brain, emotions, physical body and the world around us.
The Science of Meditation originated as a spiritual practice with ancient roots that has evolved over hundreds of years as it was purposefully and mindfully develop through trial and and conscious observation of its effect on the human psyche and the external environment in the classroom of life.
The Meditation and Mindfulness one Day Workshop is a comprehensive program stepping you through the basis of these rituals, from its ancient roots to its practical use in everyday life. You will learn how to turn down the volume, refocus your attention to create spaces of peace to think clearly, face life realistically and recreate your life from with yourself. The program is delivered in a fun, intuitive and informal agenda tailored to the needs of participants on the day. The program combines spiritual knowledge, modern application of techniques the sharing of real life experiences and skills that presents everything in an easy process you can follow and apply immediately in real life scenarios at the end of the day. You receive a power-point summarising the program as your reference to recall what you have learned until your personal practice sinks into a daily routine in your mind.
We have been helping hundreds of people on their path to mental well-being working with their minds to heal and recreate authentic expressions of Self that in turn become their inner transforming power changing their outer life from within. As your facilitator I am teaching a ritual that has been a core part of my life. I was meditating and practicing qualities such as self reflection, contemplation, presence and accessing spiritual wisdom and knowledge from a very young age. It has been my lifeline, it has helped me understand my empathic and highly sensitive nature as a gift for deeper connection with people and the inner world I mine my happiness from. I took this meditative state as a natural way of being for everyone and it wasn't until my late twenties when I came across "The 4 Noble Paths" and teachings by Buddha that I realise this state of Being was a process called Meditation and that most people were taught how to apply it.
Anyone can meditation, your state of mind and attitude to learning this art determines your success and the benefits you will experience. Once you have got the basics under your belt you are then ready to begin your practice at home or join a meditation class to build on your knowledge and skill base and enjoy the support and fellowship of group meditation. Joining a group meditation class to deepen your experience is advisable in the early stage of your practice as it can be difficult to keep to a routine in the beginning. It also enables your practice to grow and evolve with you.

This event provides a light vegetarian lunch. You are welcome to bring your own food if you wish.
Dress Mode and what to bring
Dress comfortably, our Centre has heating and cooling system. For hygiene reasons please bring a throw rug if you feel the cold as you are lying down or sitting still for an hour. Meditation Mats, cushions and chairs are provided. Bring a water bottle and anything else to personalise your experience ie cushion, crystals sacred objects.
We have free parking in the front of the Centre and on the street. Please park anywhere other than car bays that are assigned to businesses we share the premises with.
