Meditation Class Guidelines & Shared Values
Creating sustainable, calm, well-held spaces for community wellbeing
Purpose of Our Classes
Our meditation gatherings support emotional steadiness, clarity, presence, and spiritual grounding. Meditation has been a steady pillar in our lives for decades, and it continues to nourish mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness in powerful and practical ways.
Iva is recognised as an Organic Meditation Teacher with the Meditation Association of Australia. Our classes are heart-centred, intuitive, grounded, and trauma-aware. Each session includes a guided meditation and gentle reflection to support integration into daily life.
A Sustainable New Direction
Monad Centre is moving forward in a sustainable direction that honours the value of our work, the energy we hold, and the long-term wellbeing we are here to nurture.
In the past, unpaid bookings, walk-ins, last-minute changes, and no-shows created pressure at the start of classes, interrupted the calm settling of the space, and at times resulted in financial strain. While our flexible approach supported the changing world people were navigating we are now focusing on a sustainable future and playing our part of offering our services this way. These new Guidelines ensure clarity, shared responsibility, and respect for the time, energy, and preparation that make these gatherings possible.
These structures help us
- begin calmly and on time
- reduce unnecessary administration
- protect the quality of the space
- support financial integrity
- build a committed wellbeing community
They sit alongside the wider ecosystem of care we are building, including Heartline News, our Life Library learning resources, meditation circles, holistic therapies, retreats, and ongoing connection. Together, these support sustainable wellbeing moving people from coping strategies and short term relief to thriving and independence.
Ethics of Presence
We come together in care, respect, and community mindfulness.
Please
- arrive with openness and kindness
- honour confidentiality
- listen without interruption or advice
- follow facilitator guidance
- keep phones silent and space calm
Not aligned with our values
- disrespectful, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour
- filming or photographing without consent
- attending under the influence of drugs or alcohol
