Inner Quiet Meditation In-Person

Finding your inner space of Peace

Life’s demands, responsibilities, and everyday challenges, together with the struggle to sustain all that we need to stay alive, are part of a human journey we all share. Every day is filled with things to do, from making ends meet and nurturing those we love, to maintaining the homes we live in and the things that bring comfort to our lives. After a while, these constant daily routines become normal.

We learn to carry the anxieties, stress, worries, fear, and, for some, illness that gradually grow under all our striving. Our minds yearn for peace and calm. Our emotions retreat somewhere deep inside to be safe from the storms.

Inner Quiet Meditation is a simple safe space to step out of the grinding routines of surviving and become still enough to find your natural inner flow. Here, you can experience the relief of reconnecting with your inner place of peace and begin to feel your emotions again. Gradually, you experience safety within and around you, allowing you to simply Be as you are and live.

Through regular meditation, reflection, and the support of a small group, you can begin to feel calmer, clearer, and more able to meet what is happening in your life. Over time, meditation becomes less about something you do and more about a quiet presence you carry into how you live.

If you are new to Meditation we run 1 Day in-person Courses. To learn more go to Meditation Foundations Courses. We have also created the 28 Day Guided Meditation Program, that mirrors the 1 Day Course and more to explore in the comfort of your home at your own pace. The 28 Day Program is included with the Course above as a companion to guide your daily practice.

Returning to the Simplicity of Meditation

Inner Quiet Meditation brings meditation back to the natural flow of consciousness, which is simple. The external mind has become so conditioned and complicated by constant thinking, fear, questions, and the need to control life. This can create a storm in the mind when there may be no storm in what is actually happening.

Through meditation, you discover the part of your nature that exists outside of thinking, fear, and over processing life. You become still enough to watch life and learn from it, rather than trying to control it or finding conflict with it.

From this quieter place, you can observe your thoughts coming and going without identifying with them as who you are. You start to see your thinking through the observing window of the soul. This creates an awareness of unhealthy habits and allows you to make different choices and take different actions, creating what you really want to experience through healthier responses rather than unconscious reactions.

Moving from the Mind into the Heart

Heart centred guidance helps you move out of constant thinking and into the more balanced qualities of your heart nature. To regulate reactive emotions the mind reconnected to the compassion, kindness, care, gentleness, empathy and grateful rhythm of your heart. Here it can find peace in the inner knowing of the heart that does not need to have all the answers. You begin to experience being rather than always doing.

Unlike the mind, which can complicate situations with so many words and questions, the heart has a quieter and clearer way of understanding. You begin to know what needs your attention, what to give your energy to, and what to let go.

The balance of these elements and activities gradually restores your heart and mind to working together, creating new habits and responses that feel more natural to you. You also begin to realise there is a natural order within you that draws the same kind of people and experiences towards you, matching the changes taking place in your life. Synchronicity becomes a regular occurrence rather than a rare moment.

About Your Facilitators

These classes are guided by Iva and Neil Parker-Puie, who bring over a decade of holding meditation spaces, alongside more than forty five years of personal practice and lived experience.

Their approach is calm, grounded, and human. Nothing is forced. You are given space to settle, to breathe, and to reconnect with yourself in your own way and in your own time.

They offer gentle mentoring within the group space, supporting you to understand your own experience and continue growing your practice with confidence and self awareness. Self awareness and inner knowing are at the heart of their meditation and group practice. The classes they hold support the development of self sustainability, gently strengthening self reliance, acceptance, and self love as the foundation of meditation.

Iva is a Registered Member of the Meditation Association of Australia.
