Welcome to the 28 Day Meditation, Mindfulness and Mentoring Program for beginners.
The purpose of the Program is to take you on a 28 day journey of lessons combining meditation with ancient wisdom, methods and techniques. You will explore the science of how this practice is a life transformation experience affecting the quality of your thinking and emotions to the physical health and relationship benefits.
The Program is also design to support those who have completed the Meditation and Mindfulness Workshop that is now reformat into the Journey Through Meditation and Mindfulness Course we teach at the Centre or a similar Course. On completing the Course this Program assists you in a putting all that you learned into a daily routine of practice.
The Program Layout
The 28 Day Program of theory techniques and practice is stepped out at a pace that allows you time to assimilate and commit your learning to memory. The Program is only a guideline. We all have different ways of learning and retaining information. So, if you feel you need more time just repeat each lesson until you are ready to move onto the next. The main thing is you retain what you are learning and practicing on a regular basis.
The Meditations are guided with and without music. Meditation in its ancient practice is a quietening of the mind to refocus inwardly. This is so the mind is weaned from outer distractions to be comfortable with inner quiet to reflect and learn about your Self. Music is an addition the western have add to meditation to help the busy western mind focus but should not be something that is necessary in a practice if you prefer to meditate without it.
Be open, patient and consistent in your practice and your begin to feel the gradual changes it will create in you, your relationships and lifestyle.
The Program is divided into four weekly daily learning of methods and techniques, guided meditations and daily affirmation. Allow yourself time to enjoy your practice and meet the day with mindfulness as you live out your new habit.
Week 1 – 7 daily approximately 10-12 minutes of theory and practice
In Week 1 you will learn the foundation techniques of the practice that is Deep Belly Breathing, Grounding, Visualisation and Body Scanning in guided meditations and affirmations.
Week 2 – 7 daily approximately 15-18 minutes of theory and practice
In Week 2 you will explore the Ethereal Body of Chakras or Energy Centres and the Aura. We will cover the basic of the relationship between the Ethereal and Physical Body. Your 7 lessons will focus on each Centre and Auric field in meditation so explore their location, purpose and qualities and their relationship to healing and spiritual growth.
Week 3 – 7 daily approximately 15-18 minutes of theory and practice
In Week 3 you will explore the various types of Meditation and Mindfulness and their methods. The five practice you will experience are Mantra , Sound , Mindfulness or Zen , Metta or Loving Kindness and Crystal Healing.
Week 4 – 7 daily approximately 20-23 minutes of theory and practice
In Week 4 you will bring all your learning together and stretch your concentration further in Meditation and Mindfulness with the addition of what we will cover here. We will explore and discuss the nature of Energy and the Violet Flame and its purpose. We will look at a few methods of Energy Cleansing for oneself and living spaces. To complete your Program, we will cover some general topics like food before and after meditation, should you meditate when you are sick and how synthetic clothing affects the body in meditation.
What is the outcome of this Program
The outcome of your Program is a gradual evolving of your higher mental abilities such as presence, mindfulness, openness, focus attention, logic, rational, intuition to peaceful, calm qualities of your natural higher mental abilities. Your experience more loving, caring, compassion, kindness, gratitude, empathy and deeper heart wisdom and connection. These are just some of the experiences you will enjoy as you grow in your practice.
Preparation to Begin your Program
Your practice is nourishing your mind and heart with healthy thoughts and habits that will ripple throughout the day as you step into its current of activities. If the morning is not practical, chose a time to which you can reasonably commit. Consistency makes it easy for the mind to settle into its new habit. But don’t be too rigid, be flexible and accommodate those unplanned interruptions.
Preliminary preparation prepares your mind in readiness to begin your practice at the day and time you have lock into its awareness.
- Set a time and day to begin the Program.
- Prepare your meditation space.
- Set up your Program ready to start.
- Have water ready to hydrate the body after your practice.
- If you live with people let them know your meditation schedule so they respect your need of quietude at that time.
- We recommend you begin the day with meditation as the mind is still reasonably relax as you wake up.
- It prepares your mind to embrace today with mindfulness.
- The thoughts you begin your day with shape and determines how it will end.
